REPAIR BENCH- 1U9900 - Caterpillar

Before installing or removing an attachment to or from the coupler make sure that the diverter valve is in the "Coupler" position.1. Move wedges up by operating the carrier machine's third hydraulic valve.2. Tilt the Quick Coupler forward approximately 30°.
CautionAttachment (fork, bucket, etc.) should not be carrying any load when connecting the Quick Coupler to attachment. Attachment could move, causing load to become unstable and fall.
3. Drive forward until the top tube of the Coupler contacts the attachment hook assembly.4. Raise loader arms until attachment is slightly elevated.5. Tilt Coupler backwards until the locking pockets enter the Quick Coupler.6. Engage wedges by operating the carrier machine's third hydraulic valve until the wedges are fully engaged in the attachment pockets. It is a good safety practice to put the diverter valve into the "Attachment" position, even if the attachment does not have a hydraulic function.
