When submitting claim for Parts Stock Action, Use the appropriate 99Z as the s/n, the appropriate Service Letter Program Number as the Part number in the Part Causing Failure field, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Description Code.
The information supplied in this service letter may not be valid after the termination date of this program.Do not perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the termination date without first contacting your Caterpillar product analyst.

PROBLEM
Certain temperature sensors may fail during operation.
ACTION REQUIRED
Inspect the following temperature sensors in dealer parts stock:
341-4176
341-4827
Refer to Image1 for the location of the date code on the temperature sensor.
Remove the part from dealer stock if the date code is between 17 June 2011 and 14 October 2011. The date code format is yyddd (example: 12054 = 2012, 54th day = 23 February 2012). The affected date code range is between 11168 and 11287.
If the date code is outside the affected range, mark the package to indicate that the part has been inspected according to this program and return the part to dealer parts stock.

Submit one claim for all parts removed from dealer parts stock.
PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
