(23) Charge pump filterHydraulic oil tank (6) is slightly pressurized by breaker relief valve (7). The breaker relief valve holds pressure in the tank. The breaker relief valve opens as the oil cools in the tank preventing cavitation at start-up. Depress breaker relief valve (7) to release the pressure in the tank.Oil is supplied to the hydraulic system by implement pump (20). The implement pump is a variable displacement piston pump. The pump is driven by the pump drive. The pump drive is driven by the flywheel on the engine.Case drain filter (16) filters the case drain oil before entering the hydraulic oil tank. The case drain oil from the implement pump and the saw pump pass through a 100 micron screen before entering the hydraulic tank.The implement pump supplies pressure oil to the pilot differential valve and the bank valve.The implement control valve (bank valve) controls the flow of oil to the following components:

Saw motor (12)Note: Hydraulic oil for the saw motor section of the bank valve is supplied by the saw pump (attachment pump).The implement control valve has six sections. Five of the sections control oil from the implement pump while the sixth section controls the oil from the saw pump. Each section of the control valve is controlled by two proportional solenoids. When a joystick is moved to operate an implement, a J1939 message is sent to the implement electronic control module (ECM). The ECM, in turn, sends signals back to the proportional solenoids to fulfill the joystick command.For more information on the implement control valve, refer to Systems Operation, "Bank Valve (Main Hydraulic)".Pilot accumulator (9) is charged with dry nitrogen. The accumulator is connected to the pilot oil port of pilot differential manifold. The accumulator is used to lower the lift cylinders when the engine is stopped.For more information on the implement control valve, refer to Systems Operation, "Pilot Hydraulic System".Return oil in the hydraulic system flows through hydraulic oil cooler (8) before returning to the tank. If the pressure in the cooler exceeds a preset level, a bypass valve opens. The return oil then bypasses the cooler and flows through the bypass valve to the tank. The oil is filtered by main hydraulic oil filters (15) on the tank.The main hydraulic system consists of the following components:
