Disassembly and Assembly, SENR1782, "D11R Track-Type Tractor Power Train", "Track Roller - Install". This module is part of Service Manual, RENR2095. The torque value that is given in Step 3 is incorrect. Replace Step 3 with the following information.Reference: Service Magazine, SEPD0261, 3 July 1995, "Large Special Taps with Spiralock Threads Provide Improved Bolt Retention"
Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 2200 200 N m (1621 147 lb ft). Tighten the abutment side of the cap first to the proper torque. This is marked on the cap "TIGHTEN FIRST".Note: Large special taps with Spiralock threads are available. Spiralock threads are used on the minor bogies on the tractor's undercarriage. Spiralock threads provide improved bolt retention.Note: Use of a standard tap in those holes will eliminate the Spiralock feature.
