Use a rod with an outside diameter of 3.2 mm (0.125 inch) in order to clean the tube bundles for the engine oil cooler.

Install new O-ring seal (18) and new O-ring seal (19) on adapter (17). Lightly, lubricate the bore of the engine oil cooler and the O-ring seals with glycerin. Insert adapter (17) into the engine oil cooler.

Lightly, lubricate the bore on inlet bonnet (16) with glycerin. Install new O-rings (14) (not shown) in the cooler inlet (3). Carefully, install the engine oil cooler into the bore of the inlet bonnet (16). Install four bolts (15). Do not tighten bolts (15) at this time.

Install a new O-ring seal on the bonnet (12). Lubricate the O-ring seal and lubricate the bore in the engine oil cooler with glycerin. Install gasket (13) on bonnet (12). Install gasket (11) on bonnet (12). Position the bonnet (12) on the transmission cooler and into the engine oil cooler. Install twelve bolts (10) for the bonnet (12). Tighten bolts (10) to a torque of 55 7 N m (40 5 lb ft).
Tighten four bolts (15) at this time.

Install a new gasket (6) and position tube (9) in place on the oil inlet. Install two bolts (5) and the washers that hold the tube assembly (9) to oil cooler inlet (3) .
Position dipstick (7) on the engine. Install bolt (4) and the washer. Remove bolt (2) and the washer. Install clip (8) for holding the hose assembly to the cooler inlet (3). Insert bolt (2) and tighten bolt (2) .

Fill the machine with the proper fluids. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manuals, "Cooling System Specifications" for fluid capacities and proper filling procedures.
Install the filler cap. Run the engine and check for any leaks. Shut off the engine. Close the access doors for the engine.End By: Install the crankcase guard. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly, "Remove and Install Crankcase Guard".
