Install pin (3) and cable splice sleeve (4) to lanyard (2). Adjust for dimension (B) and compress cable splice sleeve (4) to secure.Install the New Battery Compartment Cover

Remove two cotter pins (5), two pins (6), and battery compartment cover (7). Discard battery compartment cover (7). Retain two cotter pins (5), and two pins (6).

Close cover assembly (8) and produce a mark (9) on the machine deck.

(1) Mount
Open cover assembly (8). Position mount (1) on the machine deck, centered at mark (9). Orient the hole axis and the radius edge of mount (1) as shown on Illustration 7 and Illustration 8. Weld mount (1) to machine deck. Refer to Table 3for weld detail.
