Use a suitable lifting device to start track assembly (6) onto sprocket (7).
Install Tooling (E) between sprocket (7) and the carrier roller.
Rotate the sprocket (7) forward. Use Tooling (E) to guide track assembly (6) over the carrier rollers and the front idler.

Lift the track in order to install Tooling (B). Rotate the track forward until the master link is aligned. Install seal (4) and thrust ring (5). Install the pilot pin in the master link. Rotate the track backward in order to position the master link between the front idler and the carrier roller, or position the master link between the carrier roller and the final drive.

Line up the pin bores in the master link. Use a suitable lifting device and Tooling (C) to install the master pin.

Use a suitable lifting device to position track shoe (3). The weight of track shoe (3) is approximately 64 kg (140 lb).

Install new nuts and bolts (2). Use Tooling (A) in order to tighten bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque turn of 915 95 N m (675 70 lb ft) plus 120° 5°.

Personal injury or death can result from grease and oil coming out of the relief valve.Grease and oil are under high pressure coming out of the relief valve and can penetrate the body.Do not watch the relief valve to see if grease is escaping. Watch the track or track adjustment cylinder to see if the track is being loosened. Make sure the vent holes are clean before the tension is released on the track.
Tighten relief valve (1) for the track adjuster. Adjust the tension of the track assembly. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Track Adjustment - Adjust".
