Release the track tension. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Track Tension - Check/Adjust".

Remove bolts (1) and track shoes (2) that are directly above track carrier roller (3).

Use Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) in order to raise track (4) by approximately 51 mm (2.0 inch).

Attach a suitable lifting device onto track carrier roller (3). Remove bolts (5) and remove track roller cap (6) from each side of track carrier roller (3).

Use an additional suitable lifting device in order to remove track carrier roller (3) from the machine. Installation Procedure

Use Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) in order to raise track (4).

Use a suitable lifting device in order to position track carrier roller (3) onto the machine.

Use an additional suitable lifting device in order to install track carrier roller (3) .
Align the dowel in track roller caps (6) with the hole in the shaft of track carrier roller (3).
Install track roller cap (6) on each side of track carrier roller (3). Install bolts (5). Note: Tighten the bolt on the abutment side of track roller cap (6) first.
Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 750 70 N m (550 50 lb ft).
Remove the suitable lifting device from track carrier roller (3). Remove Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) from the machine.

Position track shoes (2) over track carrier roller (3). Apply Tooling (C) to the threads of bolts (1) and the washer faces. Install bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 650 70 N m (480 50 lb ft). Tighten bolts (1) to an additional 120 5 degrees.
Adjust the track tension. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Track Tension - Check/Adjust".
