Locate the breakout connector shown in Illustration 1.

(1) Lanyard

Lanyard (1) with heat shrink material removed
Slide lanyard (1) back on the wiring harness assembly.Note: If the lanyard cannot be moved over the braid, remove some of the heat shrink tube.

Cutting braid for added work area
Cut and removed some of the braided material to allow for a larger work area.

Cutting the heat shrink
Carefully slit the heat shrink tube.

Splitting heat shrink tubing
Using a heat gun, carefully heat only heat shrink tube to gain access to the wires.

(2) Yellow wire (3) Green wire
Peel the heat shrink tube back to exposing the yellow and green wires.
Remove yellow wire from connection "G".
Remove green wire from connection "F".
Place the yellow wire into connection "F".
Place the green wire into connection "G".

Ensure that the pins securely lock into position.

Trim the excess heat shrink tube and braid material.

Wrap the work area with electrical tape.

Place 12 cm (4.75 inch) of 9X-8243 Heat Shrink Tube over the connector and breakout.
