Remove the suitable blocking and lower track (6).

Start the machine and slowly move the propel lever to the REVERSE position. Move the machine backward until the machine is positioned on track (6), as shown. Lower track (6).Installation Procedure

Start the machine and slowly move the propel lever to the FORWARD position. Move the machine forward until the sprocket engages track (6).

Attach Tooling (A) to track (6), as shown.
Start the machine and slowly move the propel lever to the FORWARD position. Use Tooling (A) to pull track (6) to the front of the machine.

Stop the machine and shut off the engine. Attach Tooling (A), as shown. Start the engine and slowly move the propel lever to the FORWARD position. Stop the machine and shut off the engine. Remove Tooling (A).

Start the engine and slowly move the propel lever to the FORWARD position until the machine is positioned on the track, as shown. Stop the machine and shut off the engine.

Attach Tooling (A) to the track, as shown. Use Tooling (A) to pull the hydraulic tensioner cylinder inward.

Attach Tooling (A) to the track, as shown. Pull the track together and position track link (7), as shown.

Install backing plate (5). Apply Tooling (B) to two of bolts (4) and install two of bolts (4), as shown.

Illustration 15 g06311637Note: Make sure that you are aligning the master link correctly. Make sure that the mating surfaces of the two master link are free from debris and paint.
Remove Tooling (A) and apply Tooling (B) to the remaining bolts (4). Install remaining bolts (4). Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 90 20 N m (66 15 lb ft). Then further tighten bolts (4) another 180 degrees.

Close valve (3). Start the engine to tighten the track. Shut off the engine.

Install track pad (2) and nuts (1). Tighten nuts (1) to a torque of 160 30 N m (118 22 lb ft).
