Electronic Technician (ET) (30) - This service port allows the service personnel to connect a laptop computer. This will allow service personnel to diagnose machine systems and the engine.
Power Receptacle (28) - The power receptacle can be used for powering electrical equipment or accessories.Vital Information Management System (VIMS)
VIMS Service Port (29) - This service port allows service personnel to connect a laptop computer.Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Monitoring System" for more information on VIMS.Messenger (31)

The fuel fast fill port is on the left-hand side of the machine near the bottom of the fuel tank.

Note: Maximum flow rate for this system is 455 L/min (120 US gpm).Remove dust cover and clean the fast fill fuel adapter. Fill the fuel tank through the fast fill fuel adapter and install the dust coverRear Bumper Service Center

- Push the switch upward to turn on the stairway access lights. Push the switch downward to turn off the stairway access lights.Battery Disconnect Switch (2)
Disconnect Switch On - To activate the electrical system, insert the battery disconnect switch key and turn the key clockwise. The battery disconnect switch must be in the ON position before the engine can be started.
Disconnect Switch Off - To deactivate the electrical system, turn the battery disconnect switch key counterclockwise to the OFF position.
Never move the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position while the engine is operating. Serious damage to the electrical system could result.
Rear Access Egress System Switch (3) (If Equipped)
Rear Access Egress System (RAES) Switch - Push the switch downward to lower the RAES platform. Push the switch upward to raise the RAES platform.Auxiliary Start Receptacles (4)
There are two cable assemblies that can be used to jump-start the stalled machine. You can jump-start the stalled machine from another machine that is equipped with an auxiliary start receptacle or with an auxiliary power pack. Your Caterpillar dealer can provide the correct cable lengths for your application.Transmission Lockout Switch (5)
Transmission Lockout Switch - Push the switch upward to lock out the transmission. Push the switch downward to unlock the transmission.Engine Lockout Switch (6)
Engine Lockout Switch - Push the switch upward to prevent the engine from starting. Push the switch downward to allow the engine to be started.Engine Shutdown Switch (7)
Engine Shutdown Switch - Push the switch upward to stop a running engine. Push the switch downward to allow the engine to be started.Note: The engine start switch must be turned off, In order to reset the system.
