Installation Procedure
Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.
Lubricate O-ring seals with an appropriate lubricant.

Place steering check and combiner valve (4) into position. Install two bolts (6) and the washers that secure the valve to the mounting bracket.
Install the two O-rings and connect two hoses (5) to valve (4) .
Install three O-rings and place three hose assemblies (3) into position. Install six half clamps (2), 12 bolts (1), and the washers that secure the oil lines to valve (4) .
Check the fluid level in the steering and brake system tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7064, "Hoist, Steering, and Brake System Oil Level - Check" for the correct procedure.
