Attach Tooling (A) to three points on the transmission, as shown.
Attach Tooling (B) and a double chain lifting sling to Tooling (A) .
Attach Tooling (B) and the double chain lifting sling to a suitable hoist.
Use the hoist in order to install the transmission on the torque converter. The weight of the torque converter is approximately 450 kg (990 lb).
Install nuts (4) and the remaining bolts which hold the transmission to the torque converter.

Install the bolt and the washer to retain oil level gauge support (3) .

Install tube assembly (2) .

Install tube assembly (1) .Connect the torque converter and the transmission to the engine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, RENR6929, "R1300G Engine Supplement", "Engine to Torque Converter and Transmission - Connect".
