Park the machine on a level surface. If it is necessary to park on a grade, securely block the tires and the drum. Do not apply the parking brake while the machine is moving unless an emergency exists.

Move the propel control (1) to the NEUTRAL position.
Push low idle throttle control switch (3).
Push down parking brake switch (2) to apply the parking brake.Freezing Conditions
If freezing conditions are expected, the drums should be cleaned of mud and dirt. Park the machine on wood planks to prevent the drums from freezing to the ground.Drain the water system and emulsion system (if equipped) to prevent damage.
