Information:

Turn the engine start switch key to the OFF position. Turn all of the switches to the OFF position.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position. Remove the key.
Disconnect the positive battery cable at the battery disconnect switch. The battery disconnect switch is connected to the machine frame. Note: Do not allow the disconnected battery cable to contact the disconnect switch.
Disconnect the negative battery cable at the battery that is connected to the battery disconnect switch. If the machine has four 12 volt batteries, disconnect the negative battery cables of two of the batteries.
Make any necessary repairs or replace the battery.
Reconnect the negative battery cable at the battery that is connected to the battery disconnect switch.
Reconnect the positive battery cable at the battery disconnect switch.
Install the key and turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
