Information:
(1)Radiator
Always inspect cooling system with engine stopped. Remove filler cap slowly to relieve pressure. Steam can cause personal injury.Inhibitor contains alkali, avoid contact with skin and eyes to prevent personal injury.
If it is necessary to add coolant daily, inspect cooling system for leaks. 1. Remove filler cap slowly to relieve pressure. Observe coolant level. Inspect cap gasket and replace if necessary. 2. Maintain coolant level within 1/2 inch (1 cm) of bottom of fill pipe. Install filler cap.(2)Engine Crankcase
Park machine on level ground, lower all equipment, engage parking brake.1. Measure oil level.2. Engine stopped: Maintain oil level in the SAFE STARTING RANGE on the ENGINE STOPPED side of dipstick, with oil cold. 3. Engine Running: Maintain oil level between ADD and FULL marks on the ENGINE RUNNING side of dipstick, with engine at low idle and oil warm. 4. Add oil if necessary. Do not overfill crankcase with oil.(3)Precleaner
Service air cleaner with engine stopped.
Inspect for dirt accumulation. Remove and empty bowl when dust accumulation reaches line. Periodically remove and wash entire precleaner assembly in water.(4)Fuel Tank
1. Open drain valve and drain off any sediment or water that may have accumulated.2. Close drain valve. If no water or sediment is present, drain interval may be extended.(5)Water Separator (If Equipped)
Observe water separator and drain any water before starting engine.Anytime the water separator becomes 1/2 full of water, stop the engine and drain separator. Change element anytime water separator becomes contaminated enough that water level cannot be seen through the transparent cover. 1. Open vent valve (A) and drain valve (B) and allow water to drain.2. Close drain and vent valves.
