Operating The Machine
Adjust the operator's seat.
Fasten the seat belt.

Push down on service brake pedal (4) in order to prevent the machine from moving.
Start the engine.
Raise all attachments enough to clear any unexpected obstacles.
Release the parking brake by pushing down on parking brake knob (1) . This unlocks the parking brake, the transmission control, and the steering lever.Note: When the parking brake is set, the transmission defaults to neutral. When the parking brake is released the transmission will stay in neutral. To select the direction of machine travel, return direction selector (2) to neutral.
Then, move direction selector (2) to the desired direction. Use transmission gear selector (3) to select the desired gear.
Release service brake pedal (4) in order to allow the machine to move.
To select high idle, push in on the left side of the engine speed control switch (6) and release. The engine speed immediately moves to high idle.
To select low idle, push in on the right side of the engine speed control switch (6) and release. The engine speed immediately moves to low idle.
Select an intermediate speed in the following manner:
Set the engine speed to high idle.
Select the desired engine speed with the decelerator (5) .
Push in on the left side of the engine speed control (6) and hold for three seconds in order to lock in the engine speed. This speed is now the maximum operating speed.
Change an intermediate speed in the following manner:
To return to high idle from an intermediate engine speed, push in and release the left side of the engine speed control switch.
To return to low idle from an intermediate speed, push in and release the right side of the engine speed control switch.
Use the differential steering control in order to turn the machine.
Drive the machine forward for best visibility and for control.Changing Direction and Gear

For operator comfort and maximum service life of power train components, deceleration and/or braking is recommended before any directional shifts are made.
Speed changes and directional changes at full engine speed are possible.
In order to decrease engine speed, push down on the decelerator pedal (5) .
When the machine slows, shift the transmission to the desired direction with direction selector (2) .
Increase the engine speed by releasing the decelerator pedal (5) .
Select the desired gear with transmission gear selector (3) . Push button (7) for upshift. Push button (8) for downshift.Lifting Objects
Determine the machine configuration. Use the load charts in this manual to determine the maximum working load in each load position for that configuration. The machine must be on a level surface that is stable and capable of supporting both the machine and load. Attach the loads to the machine only at acceptable specified locations for that use. The load must be moved at a rate that is smooth and reasonable, based on an object handling application.ReferenceRefer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lifting Capacities" for more information with maximum rated loads. The Maintenance Section of this manual contains the recommended preventive maintenance operations and inspections in order to
