4. Disconnect hose (2) from port (3) on drive line brake actuator (1). Connect an external electric or pneumatic hydraulic pump to port (3). The hydraulic line from the external hydraulic pump should be at least 5 m (15 ft) in length. Regulate the pump pressure to 13 735 350 kPa (1992 50 psi).5. Disconnect the steering frame lock link.6. Operate the external hydraulic pump at a safe distance from the disabled machine. When pump pressure has reached approximately 13 735 kPa (1992 psi), the drive line brake will be released.7. The disabled machine can now be towed. To apply the drive line brake on the disabled machine, release the oil pressure to brake actuator (1).8. When towing is complete, connect hose (2) to drive line brake actuator (1).Drive Line Disc Brake (If Equipped)
When the machine brakes are manually released, the machine has no brakes. The machine can roll and cause personal injury or death.Block the wheels securely so that the machine cannot be moved. Connect two machines of the same size or larger to the disabled machine. The towing connection must be rigid. Connect a machine on each end of the disabled machined.
1. Connect the steering frame lock link.2. Place blocks (wheel chocks) securely at the front and rear of each wheel. Connect two towing machines of the same size or large to the disabled machine. Use a rigid towing connection. Connect a machine on each end of the disabled machine.3. Remove all oil pressure from the brake system.
