The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects the following condition:C13 engines
Engine speed is at least 2800 rpm for 0.6 seconds.362(3)C15 engines
Engine speed is at least 2800 rpm for 0.6 seconds.C18 engines
Engine speed is at least 2700 rpm for 0.6 seconds.System Response:362(3)The ECM will stop sending signals to the injector solenoids. The check engine lamp will illuminate while this event code is active. The event code will be logged once the engine speed drops 200 rpm below the trip point for 0.6 seconds.Possible Performance Effect:362(3)The engine will shut down.Troubleshooting:The operator may be operating the machine incorrectly.Test Step 1.
