Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Remove plug (1) and install Tool (B) into the port. Connect Tooling (A) to Tool (B) .
Start the engine and run the engine at high idle rpm. Move the ejector control lever to the EJECT position in order to open the floor and move the ejector all the way forward.

Lock at the digital pressure indicator and move the ejector control lever to the RETURN detent position. When the floor closes and the ejector is all the way back, the pressure reading on the digital pressure indicator must be 13000 1000 kPa (1900 145 psi). The ejector kickout valve must also open and the ejector kickout valve must move the ejector control lever to the HOLD position.
If the pressure setting is not correct, stop the engine.
Remove plug (2) from spring housing (3) on the control valve.

Turn screw (4) clockwise in order to increase the pressure setting of the ejector kickout valve or turn screw (4) counterclockwise in order to decrease the pressure setting of the ejector kickout valve. One turn of screw (4) changes the pressure setting 1150 kPa (170 psi).
When the pressure setting of the ejector kickout valve is correct, install plug (2) in spring housing (3) and remove the test equipment.
