Pressure and flow compensator valve (1) contains two spools. Flow compensator spool (3) controls the margin pressure. Flow compensator spool (3) regulates the pump output flow in response to load sensing signal (2). Load sensing signal (2) is received through the pump signal control network.The flow that is supplied by the implement hydraulic pump is the amount that is required in order to keep the supply pressure 1690 100 kPa (245 15 psi) above the signal pressure. The difference between supply pressure and signal pressure is called the margin pressure.Pressure compensator spool (4) limits the maximum system pressure to 20000 450 kPa (2900 65 psi). Also, the pressure compensator spool serves as the relief valve for the implement hydraulic system.Pressure and flow compensator valve (1) has an orifice (8) in the signal passage to actuator piston (6). Orifice (8) is used in order to regulate the response rate of the actuator piston by creating a consistent leak path.Note: Orifice (8) must be installed with the slot for the screwdriver parallel to the spool bores.
