Installation Procedure
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Note: The bracket will be installed with the bank valve.
Install bank valve (9) into the machine and install bolts (8). The weight of the bank valve is approximately 27 kg (60 lb).

Install hose assembly (7) on the rear of the bank valve.

Install hose assembly (6) for the test port on the rear of the bank valve.

Install the lower row of hose assemblies on the bank valve. Begin to install the hose assemblies at the farthest adapter and work toward the closest hose assembly.

Install the upper row of hose assemblies and adapters on the bank valve. Begin to install the adapters and the hose assemblies at the farthest port and work toward closest adapter (4) and toward closest hose assembly (3) .

Connect control linkages (1) to spools (2) on the bank valve.
Close the access panel on the right side of the machine.
Fill the hydraulic tank. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Capacities (Refill)" and Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check".
