Assembly Procedure
Inspect all parts and clean all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.
Inspect all seals. Damaged seals must be replaced. Use new Caterpillar seals for replacement.

Install spacer (25), needle bearings (24), gear (23), thrust washers (22), shaft (21), and pin (20) .
Repeat step 3 in order to install the remaining planetary gears.

Install bearing cup (19) and bearing (18) .

Install bearing (16) on shaft (15). Install bearing cup (17), shaft (15), and seal (14) .

Install washer (13) and retaining ring (12) .

Install ring gear (11), washer (10), and O-ring seal (9) .

Install input gear (8) .
Align the timing marks (X) at the six o'clock position. The marked tooth will be located just under the carrier on the lower two gears. Install carrier (7) .
Align the marks on the housing and ring gear (5). Install ring gear (5). Make sure that the timing marks on the gears of carrier (7) are still in the proper location.

Install shim (4) and O-ring seal (3) .

Install cover (2) and twelve bolts (1) .End By: Install the conveyor drive (auger conveyor). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Conveyor Drive (Auger Conveyor) - Install".
