Remove bolt (1). Remove piston cooling jets (2) from the engine. Use Tool (A) in order to turn the crankshaft in a clockwise direction in order to gain access to each of the piston cooling jets. Repeat this process for all of the piston cooling jets. Installation Procedure

Typical example
Check the alignment of the piston cooling jets (2) with Tool (B). Refer to Special Instructions, SMHS7267, "Use Of 5P-8709 Tool Group for Alignment Of Piston Cooling Jets" for the correct alignment procedure.
Install piston cooling jets (2) on the engine. Tighten bolt (1) to a torque of 25 7 N m (18 5 lb ft). Use Tool (A) in order to turn the crankshaft in a clockwise direction in order to gain access to each of the piston cooling jets. Repeat this process for all of the piston cooling jets. End By:
