Location of the fabricated brackets on the bucket.Locate and install the left and right hand fabricated brackets as shown in the illustration. Grind the existing surface of the bucket so there is complete contact between the fabricated brackets (points Y to Z) and the bucket. Remove all paint from the area where the brackets are welded to the bucket. There must be 208.0 1.0 mm (8.19 .04") between the inside of the surfaces of the bosses on the brackets. A smooth transition is required between point Z and the existing radius on the bucket assembly. To insure correct alignment of the linkage mounting holes, it may be easier to install the left and right hand fabricated brackets on the end of the stick before welding the brackets to the bucket.
