Use a suitable lifting device to position plate (1) on final drive planetary (5). The weight of the plate is approximately 93 kg (205 lb). The weight of the final drive planetary is approximately 186 kg (410 lb). Install bolts (8). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 530 70 N m (390 50 lb ft).

Use Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to position mounting plate (7) on final drive planetary (5). The weight of the mounting plate is approximately 50 kg (110 lb). Install bolts (6). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 530 70 N m (390 50 lb ft).

Install the O-ring seal and drum propel motor (3) on final drive planetary (5) and install bolts (4) .

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to position plate (1), the mounting plate, the drum propel motor, and the final drive planetary on the mounts. The weight of the plate, the mounting plate, the propel motor and the final drive planetary as a unit is approximately 360 kg (795 lb). Install bolts (2) .
Fill the final drive planetary with clean oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Final Drive Planetary (Drum) Oil - Change" for the correct procedure.End By: Install the drum. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drum - Install".
