RIM AS 6Y2904 - Caterpillar

When you replace the batteries, always use the same type of battery. This machine requires Maintenance Free batteries or Low Maintenance High Output batteries.
Turn the engine start switch to the OFF position. Turn all of the switches to the OFF position.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position. Remove the key.
Disconnect the negative end "−" of the battery cable from the frame near the battery disconnect switch. Note: Do not allow the disconnected battery cable to contact the battery disconnect switch.
Disconnect the negative end "−" of the battery cable from the battery.
Disconnect the positive end "+" of the battery cable from the battery.
Replace the battery or make all necessary repairs to the battery.
Connect the positive end "+" of the battery cable to the battery.
Connect the negative end "−" of the battery cable to the battery.
Connect the negative end "−" of the battery cable to the frame near the battery disconnect switch.
Install the key. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
