Removal Procedure
Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

Loosen hose clamps (2). Remove hose (1) .
Remove bolts (4) and remove transmission oil cooler (3) .

Remove bolts (8) and flange (5) .
Remove bolts (6) and flange (7) .

Remove bolts (9) and bonnet (11) .
Remove bolts (10) and bonnet (12) .

Remove plugs (13) and the washers.
Remove adapter assemblies (14) .Installation Procedure
Install transmission oil cooler (3) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten adapter assemblies (14) to a torque of 32 3.2 N m (283 28 lb in).
Tighten plugs (13) to a torque of 41 4 N m (30 3 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (10) and bolts (9) to a torque of 7 2 N m (62 18 lb in).
Tighten bolts (6) and bolts (8) to a torque of 25 3 N m (221 27 lb in).
Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 46 5 N m (34 4 lb ft).
Tighten hose clamps (2) to a torque of 6 0.5 N m (53 4 lb in).
