1. Put a wooden block under bail cylinder (4) to support it after it is disconnected from the bail assembly.2. Remove bolts (2), plate (3) and pin (1) that connect bail cylinder (4) to the bail assembly. 3. Fasten tool (A), the straps and a hoist on bail assembly (5) as shown. 4. Remove bolts (8) and plates (6) that hold the pins in place.5. Remove grease fittings (7) from the pins. 6. If necessary, use tooling (B) to remove pins (9) that hold the bail assembly to the tractor. Remove the bail assembly from the tractor. The weight of the bail assembly is 421 kg (928 lb.). 7. Use tooling (C) and remove bearings (10) from the bail assembly as shown.Install Bail Assembly And Bearings
1. Use tooling (A) and install bearings (1) in the bail assembly as shown. 2. Fasten tool (B), the straps and a hoist on bail assembly (2) and put it in position on the tractor. 3. Install grease fittings (3) in pins (4).4. Install pins (4), the plates and the bolts that hold the bail assembly to the tractor. 5. Connect bail cylinder (5) to the bail assembly with pin (6), the plate and the bolts.6. Remove the wooden block from under the bail cylinder.
