Installation Of 3T9446 Reservoir
(1) Disconnect supply tube (1) and pressure tube (2) from existing reservoir (3). Remove reservoir (3) and nuts (4); these are not needed again. With a tube cutter or similar tool, cut 103.9 mm (4.09") and 15.9 mm (0.63") off the end of tubes (1) and (2), respectively. Use care not to damage the ends of the tubes. Install a 4K1456 nut (5) and a 4K1457 Sleeve on each tube. Install 3T9443 Tube Assembly (6) and 5P8186 Connector (7) in 3T9446 Reservoir (8) with 2M9780 Seals. Install reservoir (8) and connect tubes (1) and (2). Put oil into the reservoir port at the pump and check for leaks. The reservoir and line connections must not leak at 41 kPa (6 psi).
