(6) Outlet port.Secondary steering is an attachment on these machines. The secondary steering pump and the electric motor are located on the lower right frame.The secondary steering pump group contains secondary steering motor (1) and secondary steering pump (3). Secondary steering motor (1) is a 24 Volt DC motor. Motor (1) drives secondary steering pump (3). Motor (1) turns pump (3) in a counterclockwise direction.Secondary steering pump (3) is a gear pump. Secondary steering pump (3) pulls oil in inlet port (2). The oil is pulled around the gears. The oil exits through outlet port (6) .An internal relief valve that is located inside the end cap on the secondary steering pump limits the amount of oil pressure in the secondary steering circuit.Note: During normal machine operation, the secondary steering pump and the electric motor do not operate unless there is a failure of the primary steering pump.
