Release the track tension. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Track Tension - Check/Adjust".

Use Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to remove track shoe (2). The weight of track shoe (2) is approximately 54 kg (120 lb). Remove bolts (1) and two track shoes (2) that are above track carrier roller (3) .

Attach Tooling (A) to link assembly (4). Attach Tooling (B) to Tooling (A). Attach the other end of Tooling (B) to track (5). Use Tooling (A) to raise track (5) approximately 51 mm (2.0 inch) above track carrier roller (3) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to track carrier roller (3). The weight of track carrier roller (3) is approximately 95 kg (210 lb). Remove bolts (6) and track roller cap (7) from each side of track carrier roller (3) .

Position track carrier roller (3) onto the track roller frame. Reposition the suitable lifting device. Remove track carrier roller (3) from the machine.Installation Procedure
Install track carrier roller (3) in the reverse order of removal.

Align the dowel in track roller caps (7) with the hole in the shaft of track carrier roller (3) .
Apply Tooling (C) to the threads of bolts (6). Tighten bolt (6) on the abutment side of track roller cap (7) first. Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 750 70 N m (550 50 lb ft).
Apply Tooling (C) to the threads, the body, and the washer face of new bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 650 70 N m (479 52 lb ft). Tighten bolts (1) for an additional 120 degrees.
