The auxiliary hydraulic system on the machine provides hydraulic power for the following machine functions:
Front steering and rear steering
Machine elevation
Moldboard elevation, rotor service door position, side plate position, and front door position
Second stage conveyor swing and second stage conveyor elevation
Rotor parking brake, rotor service brake, rotor belt tension, and auxiliary rotor motor
Engine hood position
Water spray

Left Side of Engine Compartment (1) Return filter (2) Breather (3) Cap (4) Scheduled oil sampling tap (5) Sight gaugeThe hydraulic tank is located at the left front corner of the engine compartment. Return filter (1), breather (2), and cap (3) are located along the top of the tank.Return oil from the auxiliary hydraulic system is directed through return filter (1). The filter base contains a bypass valve. If the pressure in the return line is greater than 138 69 kPa (20 10 psi), the bypass valve opens, and unfiltered oil is deposited directly into the hydraulic tank.Breather (2) maintains positive pressure in the tank. This helps to prevent dirt from entering the tank. Scheduled oil sampling tap (4) is installed in the hydraulic tank.Sight gauge (5) indicates the oil level in the hydraulic tank. The oil level should be between the "ADD" and "FULL" marks on the gauge when the oil is cold. The capacity of the hydraulic tank is 132 L (35 US gal).

Accessory filter (9) Auxiliary filter (6) is mounted to the left side of the center pedestal in the engine compartment. Supply oil from the auxiliary pump flows through the auxiliary filter. From the auxiliary filter, supply oil from the auxiliary pump flows to the front manifold, the center manifold, the moldboard control valve, the steering control units, and the rear manifold.Auxiliary filter (6) is equipped with filter indicator (7). The auxiliary filter should be changed when the indicator is in the red zone while the machine is operating at high idle.

Right Side of Center Pedestal (8) Filter indicator (9) Accessory filterAccessory filter (9) is mounted to the right side of the center pedestal in the engine compartment. Supply oil from the accessory pump flows through the accessory filter. From the accessory filter, supply oil from the accessory pump flows to the rear manifold.Accessory filter (9) is equipped with filter indicator (8). The accessory filter should be changed when the indicator is in the red zone while the accessory pump is operating.
