Earlier Model Shown1. Put identification on the oil lines as to their location on the top of blocks (3) and (4). Disconnect the nine oil lines from the top of blocks (3) and (4). Later models do not have blocks (3) and (4). On later models, disconnect the oil lines from the lock check or lock check and relief valves they are connected to on the frame.2. Install tooling (A) under the front of the circle. Fasten a hoist to the front of circle drawbar (5).3. Remove bolts (1) from cap (2). 4. Fasten tooling (B) to the rear of the circle and to the frame. Pull the circle drawbar from the frame with tooling (B).5. Install tooling (C) under the front of the circle drawbar. Remove tooling (B). Remove the hoist from the front of the circle drawbar. 6. On earlier models, remove two bolts (7), adapter (6), and the shims and inserts on circle drawbar bolt (8).7. On later models, remove two bolts (7), adapter (6) and the shims between the cap and the adapter. The later model machines do not have inserts on the ball. Steps 8 through 13 are for earlier model machines only.8. Put identification on all oil lines as to their location on blocks (3) and (4). Disconnect the five oil lines from block (4). Disconnect the four oil lines from block (3).9. Remove the bolts that hold blocks (3) and (4) to the circle drawbar. Remove blocks (3) and (4). 10. Bend the bent part of the nut (stake) out of the notch in circle drawbar bolt (8).11. Loosen nut (9) until there is .25 in. (6.4 mm) of clearance between the nut and the drawbar.
Typical Example12. Install tooling (D) on the circle drawbar bolt. Loosen the bolt from the drawbar with tooling (D).13. Remove tooling (D). Remove the nut from the bolt. Fasten a hoist to the circle drawbar bolt. Remove it. Weight is 62 lb. (28 kg). Remove cap (2) from the bolt. Step 14 is for later model machines only.14. Remove six bolts (10) and ball (11) from the drawbar.Install Circle Drawbar Bolt
Steps 1 through 4 are for earlier model machines only.1. Put 2P2506 Thread Lubricant on the threads, nut face and the taper of the circle drawbar bolt.2. Put cap (1) in position on the circle drawbar bolt.3. Fasten a hoist to the circle drawbar bolt. Put circle drawbar bolt (3) in position in the circle drawbar. Install nut (2) that holds it. 4. Use tooling (B) to tighten nut (2) to a torque of 1050 100 lb.ft. (1424 136 N m). Bend the nut to the notch in he circle drawbar bolt. Step 5 is for later model machines only.5. Make sure contact surface (X) on the drawbar and on ball (4) is free of paint and lubricant. Install ball (4) and bolts (5). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 369 15 lb.ft. (500 20 N m). 6. Install the inserts
