When submitting claim for Parts Stock Action, Use the appropriate 99Z as the s/n, the appropriate Service Letter Program Number as the Part number in the Part Causing Failure field, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Description Code.

PROBLEM
Several dealer complaints have been registered in regards to Reman vane pump cartridge kits being assembled incorrectly. Complaints have ranged from vanes being installed backwards, to the cam ring turned backwards. Installation of these vane pump kits will result in a low pressure condition. Specific products produced on and between January 1, 2011 through November 30, 2011 may exhibit this problem.
ACTION REQUIRED
Inspect the following cartridge kits in dealer parts stock for the affected Kit ID Numbers. Refer to Image 1.

If the Kit ID Number is NOT listed in the suspect range, then return the cartridge kit to its original packaging, mark the package to indicate the cartridge kit has been inspected according to this program (PI7####) and return the kit to dealer parts stock.
If the Kit ID Number IS listed in the suspect range, refer to the instructions below for reworking the cartridge kit.
After the cartridge kit has been reworked per the instructions below, mark the package to indicate the cartridge kit has been reworked according to this program (PI7####) and return the kit to dealer parts stock.

SERVICE CLAIM ALLOWANCES
0.5 hour will be allowed for each cartridge kit in dealer parts stock that is inspected and reworked.Please include the Reman Part Number and the Kit ID Number for each cartridge kit that is reworked in the warranty claim story.
