All 3500 SeriesService Magazine SEPD1310, 3 August 2011, "A New Oversized Cylinder Bore Liner Seal Insert Is Available for 3500 Engine Cylinder Block Salvage". The original article has been revised to change the wall thickness of the 335-8971 Insert .The new 335-8971 Insert with a 0.254 mm (0.010 inch) oversized outer diameter is now available.The new 335-8971 Insert has the same thickness as the 353-5618 Insert, but the new insert provides an oversized outer diameter.The new 335-8971 Insert is intended for use as needed in replacing loose standard-sized inserts.
