1 12 106-1792 Taperlock Stud Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A copper anti-seize to the threads.
Torque to 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
2 12 2N-2766 Locknut Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A copper anti-seize to the threads and to the bearing surfaces.
1. Tighten the locknuts in the numerical sequence to 20 3 N m (177 27 lb in) is shown in Illustration 2 .
2. Again tighten the locknuts in the numerical sequence to 50 5 N m (37 4 lb ft) is shown in Illustration 2 .
3 4 357-0351 Taperlock Stud Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A copper anti-seize to the threads.
Torque to 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
4 1 336-1468 Exhaust Manifold Before assembly, apply thin coat of 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the OD of Male end manifold and ID of female end manifold. Remove excess sealer from the assembled joint.
5 1 371-7995 Exhaust Manifold Before assembly, apply thin coat of 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the OD of Male end manifold and ID of female end manifold. Remove excess sealer from the assembled joint.
6 1 365-5473 Exhaust Manifold Before assembly, apply thin coat of 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the OD of Male end manifold and ID of female end manifold. Remove excess sealer from the assembled joint.
7 2 9N-5085 Clamp Torque to 7.5 1.0 N m (66.4 8.9 lb in).
8 1 324-9290 Bellows As Assemble the bellows assembly with the “Flow Arrow” towards the NOx Reduction System (NRS) cooler.
