Rework ProcedureNote: Read and understand this entire procedureprior to starting step 1.Note: This procedure assumes that the linkagepins have been updated to grease at all joints.Group 1Remove the current M36 bolt and washer on theleft end of the A, B, and C pins. Install the new 8T1604 bolt and 146-1799washer at these joints using a torque turn procedure. Tighten the boltsto a torque of 600 +/- 80Nm and turn an additional 45 +/- 5 degrees.
Group 2Note: Use Image 1 as a picture reference.
Remove the existing tube assembly at the A pinand remove the connector from the elbow in the plate at the left end ofthe A pin. Retain the clips and mounting hardware.
Connect the new 2213457 Tube Assembly to the unionwhere the old tube asssembly was removed and install a 5K9979 Connectorin the open end of the tube. Clip the tube in the same manner and withthe same hardware as the old tube.
Connect the fixed end of a 3V4943 Hose Assemblyto the Connector just installed in step 2. Install a 4M5317 Bushing - Reducerin the Elbow in the plate on the end of the A pin. Do not connect the HoseAs to to the Bushing at this time.
Remove the existing tube assembly at the G pinand remove the connector from the elbow in the plate at the left end ofthe G pin. Retain the clips and mounting hardware.
Connect the new 2213456 Tube Assembly to the unionwhere the old tube assembly was removed and install a 5K9979 Connectorin the open end of the tube. Clip the tube in the same manner and withthe same hardware as the old tube.
Connect the fixed end of a 3V4943 Hose Assemblyto the Connector just installed in step 5. Install a 4M5317 Bushing - Reducerin the Elbow in the plate at the left end of the G pin. Do not connectthe hose assembly to the bushing at this time.
The lines to both the A and G pin must be primed.Remove the filler caps for the injectors for these lines. Using a greasegun with the same grease that is in the system pump grease into the fittingin each injector until lubricant flows from the open end of the Hoses.
Connect the hose assembly to the bushing at boththe A and G pin.
Pump grease into the fitting in each injectoruntil lubricant flows from the relief fitting in the right end of boththe A and G pins. Do not exceed 700 psi (4800 Kpa) grease pressure to avoidblowing out the seals in each pin joint.
Replace the filler caps for the injectors.
