Bleeding The Auxiliary Pump After Installation
Make reference to on the first page of Testing And Adjusting
After installation of auxiliary pump:1. Be sure that hydraulic oil is present in the supply port before tightening the connection.2. Refill the pump case through the upper case drain port with hydraulic oil.3. Loosen the outlet connection.4. With the throttle at OFF, turn the engine with the starter until air-free hydraulic oil flows from the connection.5. Tighten the connection.6. Set the pressure gauge at AUXILIARY.7. Start the engine and watch for an immediate pressure rise. The pressure should be 16 500 kPa (2500 psi) within 5 seconds. At operating temperatures the hydraulic oil and filter housings can cause serious burns. Let the machine stand idle until the oil has cooled off and the filter housings are comfortable to the touch.
After changing the auxiliary pump pressure filter element:1. Loosen the pressure line at the outlet port in the filter head.2. With the throttle lever at OFF, crank the engine until air free hydraulic oil comes form the outlet port.3. Tighten the pressure line at the outlet port.Bleeding The System After Hydraulic Oil Change

After replacing the magnetic filter in hydraulic tank and the return, supply and auxiliary elements:1. Refill the tank with hydraulic oil by pumping the oil from the replenishing tank. Add oil to the replenishing tank as needed.2. Loosen the hose at the suction port of each pump until air-free hydraulic oil flows from the connection.3. Loosen the outlet connection on the auxiliary pump.4. With the throttle lever at OFF, crank the engine with the starter until air-free hydraulic oil flows from the connection.5. Tighten the connection.6. Start the engine and run at a low idle for several minutes.7. Check for leaks.8. Check the hydraulic oil level. Add oil as necessary.Bleeding The Conveyor Swing Cylinder
