2. Remove cover (2) from the air cleaner housing. 3. Remove filler element (3) from the air cleaner housing. 4. Remove the ten nuts that hold filter element (4) to the air cleaner housing and remove the filter element. 5. At the rear of the air cleaner housing remove the two bolts which hold the air cleaner housing (5) to bracket (6). Remove the air cleaner housing (5). 6. Remove hose (7). Put a cover over the turbocharger air inlet opening to prevent the introduction of foreign material into the engine.Install Air Cleaner Housing
Make an inspection of the gasket and hose and make a replacement if necessary.1. Install hose (2) on the body assembly (1). 2. Put gasket (3) on the mounting studs. 3. Engage air cleaner housing (4) into hose (2) then move the air cleaner housing on to the mounting studs.4. At the rear of the air cleaner housing (4) install the two bolts which hold the air cleaner housing (4) to the bracket. 5. Install filter element (5) into air cleaner housing (4).6. Install the ten nuts. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 27 4 N m (20 3 lb.ft.). 7. Install filter element (6) into the air cleaner housing. 8. Install end cover (7) and tighten bolts (8) to a torque of 4.0 0.6 N m (3 .4 lb.ft.). 9. Tighten clamps (9).
