1. Remove two bolts (1) that fasten the pulley, vibration damper and adapter to the crankshaft. 2. Install two 5/8"-18 NF guide bolts (4) in the crankshaft. Remove the remainder of bolts (1).3. Remove pulley (2), vibration damper (5) and adapter (3) from the crankshaft.4. Make sure the contact surfaces of the crankshaft, adapter, vibration damper and pulley are clean and free of foreign material.5. Install two 5/8"-18 NF guide bolts (4) in the crankshaft.6. Put adapter (3), vibration damper (5) and pulley (2) in position on the guide bolts. 7. Install bolts (1) that fasten the pulley, vibration damper and adapter to the crankshaft.Remove And Install Pulley And Vibration Damper (Marine Engine)
1. Remove all but one of bolts (1) that fasten the pulley, vibration damper and adapter to the crankshaft. 2. Install tool (A) on the adapter as shown and remove one bolt (1). Remove the vibration damper, pulley and adapter from the crankshaft. The weight of the vibration damper assembly is 67 lb. (30 kg).3. Use tool (A) to put the vibration damper, pulley and adapter in position on the crankshaft. Install one bolt (3) and remove tool (A).4. Install the remainder of bolts (1).
