Hold the actuator control shaft in the SHUTOFF position (4) .
Loosen bolt (6) and rotate the lever (5) to the closed angle (B) that is 34 degrees.
Tighten bolt (6) .Use the following procedure to install the carburetor lever:
Hold the throttle plate closed.
Loosen bolt (7) and rotate carburetor lever (8) to closed angle (D) that is 15 degrees.
Tighten bolt (7) .Use the following procedure to install the carburetor control rod:
Hold the lever (5) in the SHUTOFF position (4) , and throttle assembly at SHUTOFF position (9) .
Adjust carburetor control rod (2) until the rod fits between carburetor lever (8) and lever (5) .
Ensure that there is no binding during full travel of the control linkage.Note: Lubricate the threads of the rod ends with clean engine oil.
Assemble the rod ends (11) in order to provide equal thread engagement in each rod. Orient the rod ends (11) of the control rod that is shown Illustration 3. (E) Adjust the length of carburetor control rod to the following distance. ... 196.5 1.0 mm (7.74 0.04 inch)
Torque the jam nuts (3) to 13 3 N m (115 27 lb in).
