31. Put the electrical wiring harness and the clips in position, and install bolts (2) and (5).32. Connect electrical wiring harness (3) to the lamp assembly.33. Connect hose assembly (4) to the transmission oil filter base.34. Install the transmission electronic speed sensor.35. Install the cushion hitch pump. 36. Fasten a hoist to guard assembly (1), and install guard assembly (1) on the rear of the transmission.37. Fill the transmission with oil to the correct level. Start By:a. remove transfer gearsb. remove transmission oil filterc. remove transmission pumpFLUID SPILLAGE CONTAINMENTCare must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the machine. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to "TOOLS AND SHOP PRODUCT GUIDE, NENG2500", for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids in Caterpillar machines. Dispose fluids according to local regulations and mandates. 1. Remove the bolts that hold cage assembly (2) to the case assembly.2. Install two 3/8 in - 16 NC Forcing Screws (1) in cage assembly (2). Tighten forcing screws (1) evenly, and remove cage assembly (2).3. Remove shims (3) from the case assembly. 4. Remove O-ring seal (5) from cage assembly (2).5. Remove cup (4) from cage assembly (2). 6. Remove gear (6) from the case assembly.7. Remove cones (7) from gear (6). 8. Remove the bolts that hold cage (8) to the case assembly. Install two 3/8 in - 16 NC Forcing Screws in cage (8).
