Information:

7. Assemble and install check and relief valves (67) through (69), (70) through (74) and (64) through (66) in exact reverse order as disassembly. 8. Install three o-rings (63) into pump body, and reinstall remote adapter (62) using three bolts (61). 9. Assemble the internal portion of servo piston (55) thru (60) in exact reverse order as disassembly. Ensure that the distance between the tip of threaded stud (60) and top surface of spring guide (58) is the same as it was prior to disassembly. It may be necessary, in some cases, to use a press to reinstall snap ring (54) into groove in top of servo piston when reinstalling internal portion of servo piston into the servo piston body. 10. Install internal portion of servo piston (55) thru (60) into piston body. Install snap ring (54) into the groove in top of the piston. 11. Install all but one of servo piston rings (48) thru (50) on each end of the servo piston (51). Do not install hard ring (48) to the far side of the servo piston. As the piston is pushed through the entire length of the cylinder bore, the hard ring has a tendency to snag and tear prior to reaching its working position.12. Put a thin coat of 1U6396 Assembly Compound on the piston rings prior to inserting the piston into the cylinder bore.13. Install the servo piston into the cylinder bore by grasping the threaded screw and slowly slide the piston down through the cylinder. Slide the piston through the cylinder bore until the top most ring groove is exposed on the far side. At this point, lubricate and install hard ring (48) in the top most groove on top of soft ring (49). Then push the piston, now with all rings installed, from the other side back into the cylinder bore. 14. Install side cover gasket (45) on to the pump housing. Install threaded side cover onto threaded screw (60). Thread cover down to the same depth at which it was prior to disassembly. If cover (47) contacts pump housing prior to reaching the desired depth, push piston farther out from the other side. After the desired depth has been reached, thread locknut (53) down onto the threaded screw until it locks into position on the cover.15. Install cap (52) onto locknut (53). Install five bolts (46) through the cover and into the pump body. 16. Install side cover gasket (42), side cover (44) and five bolts (43) through the cover and into the pump body. 17. Using a press, install a new bearing (41) into the main pump housing. 18. Install pin (40) in the pump housing. Put clean hydraulic oil on motor valve plate (39). Install motor valve plate in the pump housing. Ensure the cutouts and bevels in the plate are facing up, and the notch in the plate is engaged with pin (40). 19. Install washer (38), spring (37) and washer (36) in cylinder block (29).
