Park the machine on a smooth, horizontal surface in an open area.

Rotate speed dial (1) to the MINIMUM position. Move propulsion lever (2) to the NEUTRAL position.

Move parking brake switch (3) to the ON position.
Stop the engine.

Connect the pressure sensor from Tool (A) to parking brake pressure tap (5) .
Start the engine.
Move parking brake switch (3) to the OFF position.
Move propulsion lever (2) to the full FORWARD position.
Read the pressure on Tool (A). The pressure should be 3800 345 kPa (550 50 psi).
Move propulsion lever (2) to the NEUTRAL position.
Move parking brake switch (3) to the ON position.
If the parking brake pressure is outside the specified range, go to Step 13. If the pressure is inside the specified range, go to Step 16.
Loosen the locknut on brake relief valve (4). In order to increase pressure, rotate the adjustment screw clockwise. In order to decrease pressure, rotate the adjustment screw counterclockwise.
Hold the adjustment screw in place, and tighten the locknut.
Recheck the brake relief pressure. Refer to Step 7 through Step 12.
Stop the engine. Perform the procedure in "Test and Adjust (Engine Stopped)" below.Test and Adjust (Engine Stopped)
Move the key switch to the ON position.

Loosen lock ring (8). Rotate needle valve (7) fully clockwise. Turn handle (6) to the inside of the machine.

Move service switch (9) to the ON position.
Read the pressure on Tool (A) just after the pump stops. The pressure should be 3800 345 kPa (550 50 psi).
If the pressure is outside the specified range, perform the procedure in Testing and Adjusting, "Engine Hood Lift Pressure - Test and Adjust". If the pressure is inside the specified range, go to the next step.
Move service switch (9) to the OFF position.
Rotate needle valve (7) fully counterclockwise.
Tighten lock ring (8) .
Move handle (6) to the outside of the machine.
Move the key switch to the OFF position.
Remove the tooling.
