(1) Assemble the shaft in order to be even with the back of the bracket. If necessary, make an adjustment for track alignment. (2) Lubricate the inside of the collar assembly with SAE 30 oil prior to installation. (3) Rubber toric seals and all other surfaces that are contacting the seals must be clean and dry at assembly. Apply a thin film of oil to the contacting surfaces of the metal seal rings just prior to assembly. Seal rings must be assembled square with the bore. The toric seal ring must not be protruding or the ring must not be twisted. Refer to 6Y-0300 Installation instructions for conventional Duo-Cone Seal Assemblies.
