Assembly Procedure
Note: Check that all the holes in the seats and all the passages in the valve are clear. Put clean oil on all parts before assembly.

Install O-ring seals (1) on the seats. Check that the O-ring seals are installed on the end of the seat with the smaller hole.
Install backup rings (2) on the seats. Check that the backup rings are installed on the end of the seat with the larger hole.

When the seats are installed in the valve, the first seat must be installed only far enough to start the plug. The O-ring seal and back-up ring will be damag ed if the seat is installed too far.
Install one seat in the valve with larger hole (3) outward. Install the seat enough to start the plug.

Install plug (4), and use the plug to push the first seat into position.

Turn over the valve, and install ball (5). Check that the ball goes into the first seat.

Install the second seat with larger hole (3) outward. Install the seat enough to install the plug. Install the plug that holds the seat in place.

Check that O-ring seals (6) are positioned correctly on the block. Put the block in the original position on the valve, and install the four bolts.
Install spool (7) in the valve.End By: Install the synchronous valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Synchronous Valve - Install".
