Note: Before installation, lubricate the bores, the pins, and the lip seals with Tooling (F) .
Lower the temperature of the bearings of the tilt lever. Use Tooling (B) to install the bearing in tilt lever (4). Install the bearing to a depth of 10.0 1.0 mm (0.39 0.04 inch).

Use Tooling (C) in order to install lip seal (9). Make sure that the lip of the seal is facing outward.
Repeat Step 2 for the lip seal on the opposite side of the tilt lever.

Use a suitable lifting device in order to lift tilt lever (4) in position.Note: Aligning the bores of the tilt lever and of the lift arm is important. Improper alignment can damage the lip seals during the installation of the pin.

Typical Example
Carefully install pin assembly (8) .

Install the washer, the spacer, and bolt (7) that holds pin (8) .

Note: Aligning the bores of the tilt lever and of the bucket tilt link is important. Improper alignment can damage the lip seals during the installation of the pin assembly.
Install pin (6) .
Install the washer, the spacer, and bolt (5) that holds pin assembly (6) .

Use a suitable lifting device in order to raise the rod end of the tilt cylinder.
Start the engine. Extend the tilt cylinder.
Align the bore of the tilt cylinder with the pin bore of the tilt lever. Install pin assembly (3) .

Install the washers and bolt (2) in order to secure pin assembly (3) to the tilt lever.

Remove Tooling (A) which is located under bucket tilt link (1) .
