Assembly Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.Note: Check the O-ring seals and the backup rings for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

Install valve (32) and spring (33) into drift reduction valve (1) .

Install backup ring (31) and O-ring seal (30) .

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Position cover (28) and install bolts (27). Install plugs (29) and the O-ring seals.

Assemble relief valve (13). Install backup rings (20) and (24). Install O-ring seals (21), (22), (23), (25), and (26).

Assemble pressure relief valve (12). Install O-ring seals (16) and (18). Install plunger (17), nut (14), and ball (19) into plug (15) .

Stall pressure relief valve (12) and the O-ring seal. Install relief valve (13) and the O-ring seal. Tighten relief valve (13) to a torque of 300 40 N m (221 29 lb ft).

Position manifold (11) and the O-ring seals and install bolts (10). Install plugs (9) and the O-ring seals.

Install backup rings (7) and O-ring seals (8) .

Install cartridge assembly (6). Tighten cartridge assembly (6) to a torque of 115 7 N m (84 5 lb ft).

Position coil (5) on drift reduction valve (1) and install nut (4). Tighten nut (4) to a torque of 9.0 0.5 N m (79.6 4.4 lb in).

Install O-ring seals (2) and (3) in drift reduction valve (1) .End By: Install the drift reduction valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, " Drift Reduction Valve (Stick) - Install ".
