Make sure the machine is on level ground. Stop the engine, and move the control lever to make sure the weight of the bulldozer blade is on the ground. Move the control lever backward and forward to release the pressure in the hydraulic system. Slowly loosen the cap to release any pressure in the hydraulic tank. Let the hydraulic oil become cool before any lines are disconnected in the hydraulic system.
1. Remove four bolts (2) and guard assembly (1) from the cylinder. 2. Disconnect two hose assemblies (3) from angle cylinder (4).3. Fasten a hoist to the angle cylinder as shown.4. Remove the bolt, retainer (5) and pin (8), and disconnect the rod end of the cylinder from the singletree assembly.5. Remove the bolt and retainer that holds pin (7) in position. Remove pin (7) and two spacers (6), and remove angle cylinder (4) from the machine, the weight of the angle cylinder is 38 kg (84 lb.). The following steps are for installation of the angle cylinders.6. Fasten a hoist to angle cylinder (4). Put the angle cylinder and two spacers (6) in position in the frame, and install pin (7).7. Install the retainer and bolt that holds pin (7) in place.8. Put the rod end of the cylinder in position, and install pin (8), retainer (5) and the bolt to hold it in place.9. Connect two hose assemblies (3) to the cylinder.10. Put guard assembly (1) in position, and install four bolts (2).
